The Squealing Pig Bar & Restaurant the Diamond Monaghan was established in 1991 by proprietor Raymond & Emma Aughey.

 

Situated in the center of Monaghan town it is the fulcrum of Monaghan's social scene over the decades. With a large modern bar area on the ground floor that caters to all the masses whether it's a sporting event, parties the vibrant social scene at the weekend, or just a quiet coffee on the outside seating watching life stroll by.

The second floor consists of a Porkys restaurant with I intimate atmosphere producing local fresh culinary delights.
The third floor is a spacious area available for private but yet fun parties.
